Mr Ochieng has over 20 years of experience designing, managing, implementing and evaluating international development programmes in different sectors within Africa and the Asian region in both conflict and post conflict contexts. In the course of my work, I have developed insights into better programme design and implementation and the drivers of success for programmes, and designing effective monitoring and evaluation systems, and conducting research, evaluations and assessments.

Mr Ochieng has extensive hands on experience working with various international organizations and donors. He has good managerial, diplomatic and communication skills and is highly effective in developing and maintaining good relationships with colleagues and clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. I also have extensive experience providing technical support to governments in Africa and Asia on improving their monitoring and evaluation systems and reporting.

Michael is a seasoned Agriculture, Livelihoods, and Disaster Risk Reduction specialist with over 20 years’ experience in program management, climate change adaptation, emergency response, and evaluation across Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda. He has led and contributed to multiple End of Project Evaluations, Post Distribution Monitoring exercises, and resilience-focused assessments.

His work emphasizes the OECD-DAC criteria of relevance, effectiveness, and sustainability, with a strong focus on gender inclusion, resilience, and community empowerment. Michael combines technical expertise in agronomy with practical field experience in humanitarian response, livelihood recovery, and food security programming..

Sylus is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and WASH expert with over 13 years’ experience in environmental and biosystems engineering, integrated water resources management, and project evaluation. He has managed donor-funded climate-proofed WASH infrastructure programs, conducted water point mapping, and supported the development of county water policies and strategies.

His experience spans humanitarian response, sustainable WASH systems, and policy advocacy, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and community resilience. Sylus brings to the evaluation proven skills in applying OECD-DAC criteria, especially in assessing sustainability and systems strengthening in water resource interventions.

Nancy is a Natural Resource Management and Climate Change Adaptation specialist with over 15 years’ experience in program design, implementation, and evaluation across Kenya and East Africa. She has a strong background in project management, disaster risk reduction (DRR), anticipatory action, and resilience programming.

Nancy has been actively engaged in reviewing and influencing national policies, including the Climate Smart Agriculture Policy, and has supported the design of livestock and livelihood programs for smallholder farmers. She has extensive expertise in stakeholder engagement, community mobilization, and gender-responsive programming, with a focus on empowering women, strengthening resilience, and addressing the socio-economic vulnerabilities of climate-affected populations.

Amos holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Strathmore University, focusing on emerging technologies such as AI and Machine Learning. He brings a wealth of experience in data science, post distribution monitoring, integration of IT in M&E and systems development.

He has been involved in development and deployment of baseline surveys, endline evaluations, post distribution monitoring as well as assessments for Food Assistance, Unconditional cash transfers, Cash for Work Monitoring as well as food security and livelihood programs in Marsabit, Kitui, Tana River and West Pokot.
